i'm like a grandma...
today is my birthday. i am 20 and so glad to finally be done with being a teenager. ;)the prayer time i went to last night was great. it was encouraging to me, just being able to sit there with God and with my brothers and sisters in Christ. even though i didn't have much to say, because i was crying, and the only thing i could tell God was "i am tired. i am hurting. i am confused and i need you to be near me" -- even though it was just that, the presence of God blessed me. that was the strength i needed to get through another day. like i have said before, i am praying for you all! even those of you whose names i don't yet know. God's heart for us is so much greater than we could ever imagine; He loves to hear us and He loves to speak to us and minister to us with His love. most of all He just loves to be near to us.
i want to thank all of you for encouraging me in so many ways, whether it's through phone calls, emails, IM, notes, or whatever. i'm so grateful for all of your support and most of all for your prayers. God has given me so many dear friends and i can't thank you enough for allowing Him to work through you in the ways that He does. you guys are amazing!
well i'm in computer class right now and about to head home to do some cleaning. (woohoo!) i love you all and pray that you will rest in the comfort of the Holy Spirit today.
